Format
90 selected-response questions · 150 minutes · reading, mathematics and writing · computer-based at a test center or at home with an online proctor

The ParaPro Assessment (1755) has 90 selected-response questions across reading, mathematics and writing, and the test is 150 minutes long (ETS). About two-thirds of the questions in each subject focus on basic skills and knowledge, and about one-third focus on applying those skills in the classroom (ETS). The test is delivered by computer at test centers or at home with an online proctor, available seven days a week for at-home testing (ETS bulletin). ETS sets no national passing score: each state or district sets its own qualifying score on the scaled score (the bulletin lists, for example, 457 for Connecticut and 460 for Colorado). The portal mock shows 70 percent only as a self-check. The 2026-27 ETS bulletin lists $55 at a test center and $85 for an at-home appointment; some test centers charge extra proctoring fees, and rescheduling costs 50 percent of the test fee. No prerequisite to register; your state or district decides whether you take the ParaPro or the ParaPathways test and which qualifying score you need.
