Our affiliate program is for publishers whose readers prepare for professional certification exams: exam-preparation and exam-review websites, certification-focused sites and education publishers, and selected YouTube channels, webinar hosts and professional communities.

How joining works

1. Tell us about your website, channel or community with the button below. Joining is free.
2. The program is by invitation. If your audience is a good fit, we approve a partner account for you and email you an invitation.
3. Sign in to the partner dashboard with your email address. We send you a one-time code; there is no password.
4. Read and accept the Affiliate Agreement and your commercial schedule.
5. Add the USDC wallet on the Base network where you want to be paid.
6. Your account becomes active and your referral link starts counting.

Commission

• The standard commission is 18% of what the customer actually pays, before tax.
• Discounts and SummitCert Credit used by the customer reduce the amount. Payment-processing fees do not: we cover those.
• Example: a referred customer buys $50 of study materials and pays $9.50 of VAT. Your commission is 18% of $50, which is $9.00.
• The whole purchase counts, including products other than the one you linked to.
• The rate in force when a sale is made stays with that sale, even if your rate changes later.
• Not commissioned: tax; unpaid, declined, cancelled, test or fraudulent orders; orders paid entirely with SummitCert Credit; and your own purchases.

Referral links and tracking

• You get one referral code. Add ?ref=YOURCODE to any SummitCert page link, for example the page of an exam you are reviewing.
• A referral lasts 12 hours on the visitor's browser and device. If they buy within that time, the sale is credited to you.
• If the visitor used links from several partners, the last referral before the purchase counts.
• Purchases on a different device or after 12 hours are not credited. We do not track people across devices.
• Existing SummitCert customers count too, when they genuinely come back through your link.
• If a visitor declines optional cookies, the referral only lasts for that browsing session.

Refunds and chargebacks

• New commission shows as pending until its month closes and the refund window has passed.
• If a sale is refunded before you are paid, its commission is cancelled.
• If a payment is reversed after you were paid (for example by a chargeback), the amount is deducted from your future commission. We do not ask you to pay it back directly.
• Commission on a disputed payment may be held until the dispute is resolved.

Payouts

• Commission becomes payable once its month has closed. Payouts are sent around the 8th of each month for the previous month.
• The minimum payout is $20. While you are an active partner, smaller balances roll forward to the next payout and never expire. If your account is terminated, your remaining balance is settled under the final-settlement rules in the Affiliate Agreement.
• USDC on the Base network is the default payout method, paid to a wallet address you control. Any other payout method requires mutual written agreement under the Affiliate Agreement.
• Conversion and network fees for the payout are deducted from it. Your statement shows the gross commission, the fees and the net USDC sent, with a link to the transaction.
• Blockchain transfers cannot be reversed, so double-check your address. We will never ask for your private key or recovery phrase.
• For your security, a changed payout wallet takes effect 72 hours after you confirm the change.

Always disclose your affiliate relationship wherever the law or the platform requires it.

• Earnings this month, plus pending, payable and paid commission
• Each commissioned order: date, products, eligible amount, rate and commission, never the customer's personal details
• Payout history with fees and the transaction link
• Your payout wallet and the agreement you accepted

Privacy

• We never share customers' names, email addresses or other personal data with partners.
• We use your account details (name, business name, email, payout wallet, agreement acceptance and sign-in activity) only to run the program.
• Referral tracking uses a first-party cookie only when visitors accept optional cookies. There is no cross-device tracking or fingerprinting.

Taxes and ending the partnership

• You are responsible for any taxes on your commission.
• Either side can end the partnership at any time. Commission validly earned before then is still paid; commission connected to fraud is not.
