The Florida Health and Life agent exam (license 2-15) is the written licensing examination for the Health and Life (including Annuities and Variable Contracts) Agent license, class 0215 / 2-15 in Florida. It is issued under the authority of the Florida Department of Financial Services (DFS); examination administered by Pearson VUE. The exam has 150 questions and a time allowance of 165 minutes (2 hours 45 minutes). The Florida candidate handbook states that the passing score for all examinations is 70%, computed by dividing the number of questions answered correctly by the number of scored questions. US$44 per examination attempt, paid to Pearson VUE when you reserve (Florida candidate handbook). The content outline spreads questions across 12 areas; the largest are Florida Statutes, Rules, and Regulations Common to All Lines (13.0%); Types of Health Policies (11.0%); Types of Life Policies and Features (10.0%). You apply for the license with the Florida DFS and may be required to complete state-approved prelicensing education (typically before testing) and pay application, fingerprint and background-check fees; confirm the current rules with the DFS.
