Free USPS Virtual Entry Assessment 474 (Mail Carrier) Flashcards

M-41 §131.41-131.42 makes this your responsibility to flag, not absorb silently: you must verbally inform management as soon as you believe you won't finish casing, complete other required duties, and leave on schedule — well before the scheduled leaving time, not after. Management then decides on auxiliary help or a schedule adjustment. Quietly pushing through and hoping to catch up risks a late, incomplete, or rushed delivery with no record of why, which is worse for both the customers and your own record than an early, honest heads-up.
