Free North Carolina Real Estate Broker Flashcards

Land is the ground itself together with what is naturally attached to it, real estate adds the permanent improvements, and real property is real estate plus the bundle of legal rights of ownership. Personal property is everything movable. In everyday conversation the first three are often used interchangeably, but the agent should keep personal property distinct because it does not pass by deed and must be addressed separately in the contract.
