Free Florida Cosmetology Licensure Exam Flashcards

No. Florida defines a wet disinfection container as a tub or jar with a lid, filled with disinfectant and large enough for every item to be completely immersed. A container too small to submerge the whole implement fails the rule, because any surface above the liquid is never exposed to the disinfectant. The owner needs a larger container, or should soak items in pieces.
