Eligibility requirements, in full
The PSI bulletin says you must be 18 to apply for a broker license, with no age limit for taking the exam. Under Commission Rule 2.2.D, an exam taken before the pre-license education is complete does not count toward the license, and the education certificate must show a completion date on or before the exam date. Applicants with a criminal history can request a preliminary advisory opinion from the Commission. The education hours are set by the Division; check its application requirements page.
What it actually costs
PSI lists $49.00 for the first attempt and $48.00 for a retake. The Division license application fee and pre-license education costs are separate and were not confirmed here.
